Townsend’s run marks her first time reaching the third round of a Grand Slam since 2023, and she is the lowest-ranked American woman to beat a past Grand Slam champion in singles at a major since Kristie Ahn in 2019.
* Krejcikova’s Three-Set Victory: Barbora Krejcikova battled through a tough three-set match to defeat No. 10 seed Emma Navarro.
